Wine tasting and vineyard visits are second to none in the region. With spectacular wines of the Cahors AOC, the true delights of wine tasting can be sampled in the region. Fontaine de Tarrieu is able to let you sample some of the great wines of the region with tasting sessions every evening, with the most popular of wines being served with the evening meal.

Being based in one of France's vineyard rich areas, we can organise wine tasting excursions to several of the local vineyards, so you can see where and how the wine is produced.

In addition to the wines, this region is also very rich in Foie gras and other duck and goose produce. We can organise tasting at some of the finest foie gras producers and you can see the gavage( feeding).
